The current draft  of the State Educational Technology Plan is ready now for comment. Your input on this plan is greatly needed. The technology plan drives the development of educational technology related programs in Arizona and provides information to the state Legislature. School districts must also mirror the state plan when they apply for e-Rate funding. The Arizona Department of Education is looking for feedback from Educators, Parents, Business People and Community Members in your regions. ADE and the Pima County Technology Integration Specialists are hosting a Webinar to review the plan on Friday, January 16th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Regional Support Center, 6420 E. Broadway, Suite A100. Seating is limited to the first 50 to RSVP at 745-4588. An official from ADE will be online to present the plan and to answer your questions.

The committee has made strategic recommendations for four interrelated components:

  • Student Learning
  • Leadership
  • Preparation and Development of Educators
  • Infrastructure
